Back in March I attended a photography conference called The Hybrid Co. It’s a conference for photographers who shoot both film and digital images. While I mostly shoot digital, I’ve been dabbling in film for the last couple of years. I’ve recently decided to add film on regularly to my clients’ wedding collections because I think it adds more to the feeling of nostalgia.

When you look at a film image it adds to realization that the moments we go through are truly fleeting, once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Even if the image wasn’t “perfect” because I couldn’t take 30 frames per second and pick the best one from the set, it was still intentional in it’s framing or feeling, and it makes it extra special. So here are a few fun snaps I grabbed from the conference! I think they’re just lovely.
