Before meeting up for this engagement session at Brownstone Reserve, Darby and I had talked about her wedding through a consultation call. I love meeting my clients at their engagement sessions to get a feel for their relationship and how they are with each other. Are they super outgoing and total hams in front of the camera? Are they quiet and reserved? Do I need to pose and guide a little more or can I just step back and let them do their thing? It also helps me get into a groove with them while helping them know what it will be like to work with me on their wedding day.

Chris and Darby were SO cute, and I can’t wait to capture their wedding day at Brownstone Reserve. It’s just gorgeous. And they’re clearly crazy about each other. It’s going to be a great day!
