This may be one of the most perfect engagement sessions I’ve ever done (maybe just because I like coffee and vibey tunes so much). I met Adriana and Matt at an open house in College Station a few months earlier, and they were the sweetest couple! We planned an engagement session in downtown Bryan and decided to start the shoot at a coffee shop (very good start).
After enjoying their lattes and taking photos inside, we walked all around downtown Bryan. First we took a few photos in front of the vintage movie theater, which was perfect because Matt and Adriana have a very vintage style. With Christmas decor currently being up, we had to take a moment to create a photo that would be a perfect cover for the next Hallmark Christmas Classic. What should we call it?
After that we stopped in front of an old book store, and then (duh) an antique store. I can hardly stand to miss golden hour, so we went a little outside the bounds of the shopping area and buildings to find a place where the sun might be shining through some trees. Luckily there were a few green spaces that we made work, and I adore those photos!
Oh! Also, props to Matt as he made THE most incredible, vibey engagement session playlist. I’ve been listening to it on repeat for my editing marathons lately.
These two were so lovely and giddy the whole time. Like most couples, they started off the time saying something like, “We’re not good at taking photos.” But oh how wrong they were! By the end of our time together Matt said, “That was fun.” 🙂 Which I always love to hear!
