Jackson and Liza’s Christian wedding in College Station left an indelible impression on me. Liza started the morning getting ready at her parent’s home with all of her besties surrounding her. There were so many beautiful moments I was able to capture in a documentary style because everyone was so laid back and happy. No one tried to force poses, but was really into just going with the flow.

One of my favorite moments was when we had an unexpected first look with her father. Liza said she was so happy with the way those photos because he had done a staged first look at one of her sister’s weddings and he was so camera aware that the photos kind of came out flat. But these photos were so lovely and emotive. Precious, precious.

Liza and Jackson also have very emotive, worshipful Christian families. The whole day was so sweet, and you can tell that they both come from very close, loving families. There were so many sweet moments just between parents and grandparents and how they sweetly treated one another with lots of hugs and kisses. And (happy) tears galore!

During the processional, Liza and Jackson decided to make this a time of worship. She walked down the aisle to “Christ Be All” by Grace Worship. And I lost it! To me, as a Christian, it was so special to witness a couple coming together to say that Christ is the center of everything to them.

This is my hope
Not I, but Christ in me”

After the ceremony, they had a lot of good fun with a moment for golden hour bride and groom portraits— many of the film photos being favorites! These two are big dancers and they had the time of their lives on the dance floor with their friends. They ended the night with the Aggie War Hymn (iykyk) and a private last dance.
