Over the winter break, I met up with Mel and John in DFW for their Fort Worth Arts District Engagement Session. John grew up in the area and loved showing us around his old stomping grounds. Mel and John also happen to be geologists. It was fun to walk around with them as they pointed out the different types of limestone (and other stones), noticing the little patterns the in the buildings and walkways. It was definitely an experience unlike any other I’ve had with a couple! So much wonder in noticing the ground we were walking on and the buildings we were walking amongst.

This was also a fun session because there were so many fun structures around us! Highlighting the architecture was a cool change-up .
