Josh and Shelby’s west Texas private estate wedding has gone down in history as one of my all-time favorite weddings! They chose to get married at Shelby’s grandparent’s home located on a river. She spent her summers growing up here and couldn’t have imagined a better place to tie the knot. It was filled with so many beautiful childhood memories—I’m sure dreaming of the day she would meet her future husband was a pastime, too.

The entrance to her grandparent’s home was well guarded by a kitschy stone gorilla her grandparents fell in love with from an old frequented restaurant. They loved it so much they actually asked if they could buy it from the restaurant, and they said yes!
