Intimate Austin Wedding | Jess + Morgan

From the moment Jess got in touch with me from TikTok, I knew we were going to be a great match! She was all about the “vibes, vibes, vibes!” of her wedding day, and I was so thrilled and honored to be chosen to photograph her and Morgan’s intimate Austin wedding.

Before their big day, we planned to get together for a lifestyle engagement session. It was the perfect blend of photos that incorporated their apartment (that looked like it was straight off a movie set btw) and glowy outdoor golden hour photos.

On their wedding day, they chose to hire all female or minority vendors, and from start to finish, the day was seamless, beautiful, and full of so much love. Jess and Morgan loved the idea of having film added on to their package and I’ve added a few of them into this blog post. Can you tell which ones are film??

The ladies chose to get ready at a fun AirBnb, and then everyone gathered at Sekrit Theater for the ceremony. This was such a beautiful, unique and fun location for their intimate ceremony as there was only enough room for about 30 guests total. This garden-themed location makes you feel like you’ve truly found a secret garden in the middle of the city. Surrounded by woods, fountains, plants and in the very center, a greenhouse, it will especially speak to those who have a whimsical side.

After their nuptials, we all headed to Rancho Moonrise for their outdoor reception. They chose to sit among their guests and shared a family style dinner on long tables catered by The Caribbean House. They chose to stick with a simple aesthetic for their table decor, letting the outdoors setting really shine. The show-stopper of the night was their super colorful, funky cake baked and designed by Flower and Flour.

The rest of the evening was filled with dancing, sweet conversations, and ended with a literal bang! They exited the reception to their getaway car with streamer poppers. It was an incredible night, and a delight to capture.
