A few months ago, I had the pleasure of collaborating with some truly amazing wedding vendors, among them being Camp Hosea, situated near College Station, Texas. This venue boasts both a chapel and reception venue on-site. One particularly noteworthy feature of the chapel is its light-colored walls, ceilings and floors—credit to the designer for a job well done! This design choice translates to fewer chances of peculiar color casting on your skin, offering a more timeless aesthetic compared to, let’s say, wood paneling.

The reception space, with an entire wall of tinted glass, bathes the area in light, creating a partially outdoorsy ambiance. It is equipped with a fully loaded upscale bar certain to impress all your guests.

The centerpiece of this venue is the courtyard—a sight to behold. You can see for yourself the ample room available for setting up a s’mores station with their fire pits, having a coffee cart, and playing cornhole.

For the bride and her bridesmaids, the charming space designated for getting ready provides a delightful “feast for the eyes” retreat, tucked away from where the gentlemen will be preparing next door. The men, too, will find satisfaction in a ready-to-go poker table, offering a bit of fun and relaxation before the big event.

Lastly, there are so many beautiful backdrops to choose from for your golden hour portraits. Once you tour the space for yourself, you’ll absolutely fall in love with it, and I can’t wait to capture your big day!
