Can I tell you how much I love love love Luke and Lauren’s love story?? While Instagram has a lot of things I’m sure we all could do without (hi, comparison game), one things it’s GREAT for is connecting people…even across continents. As a College Station engagement photographer, I love the chance to get out of the city and photograph in new locations! Enter a trip to DFW to visit Luke and Lauren. Here’s a little about their story:

Luke was living in the Netherlands and during a visit to the States for a Christian Conference, he met Lauren…well, saw her across the room. Eventually they connected over Instagram and the rest is history. I can’t imagine what it was like when they finally saw each other for the first time in person after months of having a long distance relationship. Fireworks!

I’ve actually known Lauren for a long time because I was in her parents’ Bible study when I was in college…don’t make me tell you how long ago that way 😉 For their session, we decided to meet up at Grapevine Lake in Grapevine, Texas. The location provided a variety of backdrops – from a picturesque dock to a lush green field, and even a serene forest. I loved using multiple cameras and lenses, including my 35mm camera.

I specialize in photographic storytelling, capturing moments that unfold naturally and showcasing the sincere emotions shared between couples. Using multiple cameras and formats, both digital and film, allows me to stay creative and gives my clients a variety of images that they’ll cherish. Based in Houston, Texas, I have the opportunity to work with both local and international clients, providing a luxury photography experience.
