Kaitlyn and David met at Texas Tech University through the same Christian club. Their connection blossomed over shared faith, laughter, and countless adventures together. Their wedding day beautifully reflected this foundation—gentle smiles, emotional moments, and pure adoration for one another filled the air.
Her brother officiated the ceremony, adding an extra layer of intimacy. Watching David’s gentle smile as Kaitlyn walked down the aisle was heartwarming. You could feel her excitement and nerves in the deep breath she took just before stepping forward to her forever person. 💛

One Preston Events was a dream for Kaitlyn and David. The chapel’s bright white space and the spacious reception hall allowed for incredible natural light and photography without color casting. The willow trees and expansive fields provided endless opportunities for playful and romantic portraits. During golden hour, we captured stunning images of them frolicking in the fields, perfectly drenched in backlit warmth.
The venue’s charm and versatility also allowed for a vibrant color palette of earth tones that reflected the couple’s fun, sweet personalities. Bridesmaids twirled under parasols, and the groomsmen’s playful antics kept the energy high all day. 🌸
Celebration Without Limits at One Preston Events
Friends and family of all ages joined them on the dance floor, creating unforgettable memories. Kaitlyn shared a super fun Latin American dance with her grandmother and mom, a touching highlight of the night. David and Kaitlyn’s private, emotional last dance was intimate and magical. Though the sparkler exit was canceled due to a fire ban, a “spirit fingers” exit was lively and so uniquely theirs!
