Bride and Groom inside the chapel at the Emerson Wedding Venue

The Emerson Wedding Venue

I had the pleasure of shooting at The Emerson Wedding Venue in DFW earlier this year. It quickly became one of my favorite wedding venues for so many reasons!

The Chapel

First, the chapel is absolutely gorgeous! It combines tradition with a modern chic vibe that you’ll absolutely love. The light is so nice inside because they’ve gone with a very light-colored scheme for both the ceilings and the floors (that just means that there won’t be any funny colors reflected onto your faces)!

The Reception Hall

While you can choose to have an outdoor reception (which I LOVE btw), Texas isn’t always the friendliest location for that to happen. If you’re deciding to skip the heat and the mosquitoes, they have a beautiful indoor space as an option! There’s plenty of room for all of your guests, and with the large windows, the lighting is superb. It also feels very homey since it’s actually located inside the main building that includes a beautiful staircase and a couple of living spaces.

Locations for Portraits

You’ll definitely want to make some time for bride and groom portraits during your wedding day. Whether taking your photos together or getting an amazing shot of just you, The Emerson Venue has so many fun and beautiful spots to choose from! I also love how the light falls in all of the different locations, so you’ll have opportunity to get something truly unique and artistic if that’s important to you.

The Courtyard

If you do choose to host your wedding reception outdoors, there’s a really great spot outdoors that just screams “dance floor goes here”! With the quaint little chapel in the background, it makes for one of the most romantic spots to end the evening.

The Rentals

I absolutely love that they have an entire storehouse full of fabulous rentals such as chairs, tables, etc for you to choose from! Just let them know what kind of vibes you’re going for and they’ll bring out so much inspiration!

Book a Tour

To find out if the Emerson is the right place for you, I recommend visiting in person! You can book a date to check it out for yourself HERE.
